Episode #214 – Why Cheat Meals Are Dumb



Cheat meals or cheat days are terms made by people when they disregard all their efforts in order to eat or drink what they want. They believe that having one day of cheat meals will not affect all the hard work they made for the other six days in the week. Having a cheat meal is pure nonsense because people can just stop restricting themselves and track their calories instead.

 

Tyson explains that behavior involving cheat days conditions the mind that being healthy for the rest of the week is a punishment and that the cheat meal is the reward for all the hard work. He discourages this mindset. After all, cheating – in any way – is no good.
