Cardio workout is intended to make the heart and lungs adapt better to stressful situations involving the body. Some people think that it is needed in fat loss which is actually not accurate. Cardio workout helps in reducing calories and improving metabolism but it is an unnecessary workout to lose fat.

 

Tyson suggests that weight training should be prioritized first over cardio workout when it comes to losing weight because anyone can still lose weight without doing a cardio workout. He also enumerates alternatives for a cardio workout like walking with the same or better results.
